The Castle Gardens

The Castle Gardens is in a central location south west of Boise near Kuna and is truly a one of a kind venue in the Treasure Valley. A Castle and landscaped grounds are regal in status as a back drop for you event. We welcome all that will respect the property as if it were their own Castle in the country. The Castle Gardens has a grand ballroom that is a multipurpose indoor temperature controlled room that will allow anything from weddings, company parties, to formal sit down dinners year around for ninety (90) of your guests. The Ballroom opens up to a patio overlooking the gardens and waterfall feature effectively doubling the space for your guests. The almost six (6) acres of property with the center piece being the Castle and landscaped grounds make The Castle Gardens a very versatile location for your indoor or outdoor event. The venue rental includes tables and chairs for ninety (90) in the ballroom and additional accommodations for larger parties can be negotiated. Our preference is those intimate weddings or Parties that are ninety (90) people or less that can take full advantage of our facilities year around. But when the weather is grand we can accommodate much larger groups in the shadows of The Castle and Gardens. The Castle Gardens can be the location where a Princess marries her Prince or a Catered party for Business or Friends.
The Castle Gardens Terms and Conditions
You will be expected to comply with the following rules and guidelines to ensure that we can continue to allow its use. These are the terms of the basic contract, so please read carefully before deciding to commit to this location. Failure to follow the rules and guidelines will result in the forfeiture of a portion of or all of your damage deposit. To reserve your special day at The Castle Gardens this contract must be signed and a fifty percent (50%) deposit made under the following terms full payment (100%) paid thirty (30) days prior to your event.
Indemnification: A Certificate of Insurance must be provided naming T.J. and Toni Jones owners DBA “The Castle Gardens” 2050 N Meridian Rd Kuna Id 83634 as additional insured for one Million dollars ($1,000,000) and payment in full (100%) thirty (30) days in advance of your event at The Castle Gardens. Failure to provide the indemnification and payment in full (100%) will forfeit the entire deposit and the reservation date. The Castle gardens will not take responsibility of personal effects, clothing, wedding attire, gifts, valuables etc during the event or remaining on the property.
Alcohol: The Castle Gardens allows alcohol with restrictions and pre-written approval. For events with alcohol, you must use a licensed, insured vendor who brings and dispenses the alcohol. Vendors must provide proof of licensing and insurance to The Castle Gardens thirty (30) days before wedding is to take place. Weddings with alcohol may be subject to an additional $500 refundable damage and cleaning deposit. Exception: Wine or alcoholic beverage for a celebratory toast is allowed if provided by the leasing party and will be subject to all local laws and ordinances.
Full Day Rental: Full rental of our facility is from that day only from 10:00am-11:30pm. Exceptions if agreed to in writing can be negotiated for a additional cost. No event shall last later than 10:00 PM and cleanup should be completed by 11:30 PM, and ready for the next day’s events. No previous day set up will be allowed with the exception of the reception hall and only if it is available the day before. A rehearsal may be scheduled prior to the event and will be limited to 1 ½ hours and will only be scheduled around other bookings. We will have a property attendant available to make the property available and answer any questions at the rate of sixty dollars ($60) per hour, one (1) hour minimum. All rented time on the property must be covered by your indemnification and insurance coverage (see Indemnification). The base list price for a Full Day Rental is two thousand dollars ($2,000) subject to terms and availability.
DJ and Bands: We have neighbors whom we like and respect, therefore all amplification of D.J. or Bands should at a respectable level and in accordance with all noise ordnance laws in the area. It is your responsibility to make sure your D.J. is aware of this policy and the 10PM hard stop. We recommend that you seek a bonded and insured DJ when booking. We have our favorites if you need help just let us know.
Photography: Pictures are often a big part of an event at The Castle Gardens, we provide you the option to schedule additional time on the grounds to take pictures before or after your even at the fee of sixty dollars ($60) per hour; this covers the cost of the attendant. You or your photographer must also provide the same indemnification as above for the extra time on the property. There are many outstanding photography providers in the area; please let us know if you need any help finding a photographer or videographer for your event or party at The Castle Gardens.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the Castle or within fifty feet (50') of the patio or entrances to the Castle. We will provide a designated smoking area for your guests at your request for an additional cost. No open flames, fires or candles can be used anywhere on the property with out written permission and covered by insurance also in writing.
Trash: Trash cans and Bags will be provided for your use. It is your responsibility to see that the property is left in the same condition as when you found it -trash free. Please make sure you have someone pick up any trash left on the grounds.
Access: Guests are limited to the Castle Ballroom, landscaped grounds, outdoor patio and walkways. Guests are not welcome to freely browse about the property or the private residence in the Castle. Minor children must be supervised by an adult at all times or will be taken to the dungeon.
Restrooms: Two (2) rest rooms are located at the entrance to the Castle and Ballroom; please help us maintain a clean and pleasant experience for your guests. Report any issues with the restroom to the event attendant immediately. At your request extra toilets can be provided on the Castle grounds with prices to be negotiated and paid before delivery.
Tents and Outdoor Items: Tents and Outdoor items and shelters can be provided on the grounds at your request. The price is to be negotiated, agreed, and put in writing at the time of booking. Payment in full will be required and non-refundable at the time of booking those additional items. These items take time to set up and take down and are not provided in the basic rental of the property.
Bridal Suite: We have a special place for the guest of honor to prepare for the activities of the day. Absolutely no one except the bridal party and the parents of the bridal party are allowed into the Bridal Suite at the top of the stairs in the Castle ballroom. The residential portion of the Castle is not available to your guests or bridal party. No food or beverages, other than bottled water, are to be in the Bridal suite. Please use nail polish, hairspray and makeup with care so that we keep this area pristine for our guests.
Property Alterations and Litter: No one is allowed to move, damage, trim or cut any of the landscaping or to move any of the landscaping statuary or other décor without express written permission. No rice, glitter, confetti or birdseed of any kind may be used to decorate the property inside or outside. Bubbles may be used outside only to send the bride and groom on their way.
Noise: No fireworks, guns or loud noisemakers may be used at the Castle Gardens. Again we are trying to respect our neighbors and the local noise ordinances. While sparklers add a stunning way to celebrate your event as night falls on The Castle Gardens, please note that those may only be used outside with written permission and at your own risk. Please consider that that sparks may damage personal effect such as wedding attire and that hair spray is flammable. Spent sparklers and all trash must be picked up and disposed of in a safe and sanitary way.
Caterer and Food: You may use any caterer you wish or have your family bring your food. We have small Butler’s Pantry for final prep with sink and refrigerator in the Castle Ballroom. The counter space and refrigeration is limited in the butler’s pantry so make sure your caterer or family is aware of the space limitations. This is significant a benefit not found at most venues. We recommend you seek a bonded and insured Caterer when booking. We have our favorites if you need help just let us know. A Damage and Cleaning Deposit of $500 will be required if you bring food onsite, unless waved in writing.
Parking: We have a paved parking for thirty (30) cars for your guests and walkways to the landscaped grounds and Castle. Your party is expected to use those areas as provided for parking arrangements. Directional signs and parking lot markers will be in place to show people where to park and enter and exit the property. Delivery and support vehicles will have access to roads and parking near the Castle but must stay and park on the paved surface, guests will be limited to the designated parking areas unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancelation: If you cancel your reservation, you will forfeit your deposits and your rental fees. Dates cannot be re-scheduled; changing a date is considered a cancellation and re-booking.
